I've just finished the first game, and addicted to the second one as much as to the first.
Altair is so cool though he was pride and bold at the beginning. And he cannot swim, me neither! I like the interactions go between Altair and Malik.
The other relation I get excited about is Ezio and Altair (no, i don't mean BL), though they are not in the same time. It 's the distance in time and the link in blood that amazes. So I'm very glad that they let old Ezio see Altair's illusions in the revalation trailor.
I must say doubleleaf's AC fan art is the best I've seen so far. Many of her works broke my HHP.
